DESCRIPTION
The framework (measuring 105 cm x 76 cm, made with refined airbrush technique) depicts the rare Alfa Romeo 8C 2900B Berlinetta Touring 1938, winning the first six hours of Watkins Glen in 1948. Then the winner at the Pebble Beach Concours d 'Elegance "Best of Show" in 2008, at the Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este "Best of Show" in 2009 and Louis Vuitton Classic in 2010.
Painting made in 2013 by renowned international artist Giuliano Rapetti, stage name JR, born in Genoa in 1969, considered the father of airbrush Italian.
JR writing about himself: "I started drawing with the airbrush age twelve decorating wasps of the friends of my brother, then I approached the motocross and I started to do with racing helmets, drawing also known for pilots professionals".
From motocross JR has since expanded to draw the helmets of many riders MotoGP and Formula 1, brought his signature helmets for Gerhard Berger, Eddie Irvine, and many others. In the 90s helmets of some American motocross racers, and this opens the doors of the US market.
JR today produces mainly paintings, all with airbrush, produces a line of paints for airbrush (marketed especially abroad) and organizes courses airbrushing.
